Delivery Information
Oak Solution offers free delivery on all orders. However, additional charges may apply for surcharge areas and additional services as detailed below.
One Man Delivery
This is a one-man delivery service who will take the item into any ground floor room. The driver has the equipment to offload the item or items from his vehicle and bring them to your property.
Assistance may be required for heavy and bulky items especially if there are access issues, stairs or any obstacles to manoeuvre.
We aim to delivery all in stock items within 5-15 working days from date of order even though in many cases the delivery is quicker than this. The delivery company will contact you approximately 3-4 days prior to delivery via email and text message (if a mobile number is provided) with a delivery date and three-hour time window. If the slot offered is not suitable then the offered date and time can be rejected, and the delivery company will be in touch again with a new slot. You do not have to be in for the delivery as you do have the option to have the order left in a safe place, with a neighbour or to a nearby address.
Two Man Delivery
As above but includes a two-man delivery who will take the item into any room of choice including upstairs or downstairs. This service can be chosen at checkout and costs an additional £25.
White Glove Service
This service includes a two-man delivery who will unwrap the item, position the item into the room of choice and take away the packaging. Assembly service is also available. If you do wish for this service, please contact us for a quote.
Express Delivery
Some items are available on a premium 1-2 working day service either via parcel carrier if it is a small and non-heavy item or via pallet service. Please contact us for a quote.
Garden Furniture Delivery
Garden furniture is generally delivered within 7 days unless stated otherwise on the product page. The delivery company will contact you directly within this time to book you in for a delivery date. This is usually done via text message and email. If the date offered is not suitable then you will have the option to decline the date by following the instructions on the text message/email and they will then contact you within 24 to 48 hours with a new delivery date. The delivery company will contact you on the day before your allocated delivery date with a 4 hour time slot or alternatively you can contact us on the day of your delivery so we can track the delivery for you and advise of an estimated time of arrival. Weekend deliveries can be arranged but this is at an additional cost. Please contact us if you require a weekend delivery slot. We advise that there should be somebody in to accept delivery. However, we can leave a note for the furniture to be left safe if easily accessible. However, this is at the customers’ risk. We also can request for the driver to call when he is on his way but again this is not guaranteed. One man deliveries are delivered to the kerb side/customers driveway. If you have paid for a two man delivery then the furniture shall be carried to your garden or the location of your choice.
Choice of Day/Weekend Delivery
You can choose a delivery day to suit you or even a weekend delivery to give you the flexibility of delivery around your schedule. We can put in requests with the delivery companies who would try your best to meet your demands. Alternatively, we can guarantee the delivery date or weekend slot at an additional charge.
